- Letterhead : is the very top of a letter or called the letterhead. Contains company’s address, company’s telephone number, company’s e-mail, company’s website address logo.
- Date : Contains date, month, and year when the letter is written. usually located on the upper right, but there is also placing it on the top left. For your writing style can be divided into two styles of writing, namely:

4. Subject: This is a subject that became the reason for
letter writer to the recipients.
5. Salution is greeting to
begin writing a
letter, to write the foreword usually use
the word "dear", after
that person's name in the heading. If the letter
is addressed to people we know in writing the name of
the format used "Ms, Miss, Mrs, Mr, Dr" if the people
we don’t know we can be to use
"Dear".

- Dear Madam (Female Recipent)
- Dear sir/Dear Sirs (Male Recipent)
- Dear Sir or Madam (unknown receiver gender)
The british style are not authorized to use any punction in writeng greeting, only use punction commas.

6. Body of the letter is the contents of the letter directly to the subject
matter to be discussed, the
contents of the letter, the contents of the letter

7. Complementary Close : "Yours faithfully" is a word commonly used in this section, the

"Sir" or "Madam" and do not use the name of

10. P.S (Postscript) is a brief note,
written when ending a letter. placed in the
bottom left, before the CC. It is advisable to avoid postscript on
Business English letter.
11. CC (courtesy copies) Previous
carbon copies (carbon
copy). Is a copy
of the list to whom the author distributes letters,
sorted according to the alphabetical order.
